Thanks guys!

Steve, I got my cluster for $20, but it was from an old junk yard around her with notoriously good prices on old parts. If you put your buddies on ebay it would probably bring 3 times that if it's in nice shape. Sorry to hear you lost your shop, but if your happier now than that's all that matters, right? Build a new shop when you can and you'll be twice as happy as you were!

Well, today I brushed and installed all the sills and such. They were pretty rough, but new ones aren't in the budget for now, so I just hit them with a wire wheel. I also installed the glovebox, passenger armrest, wiper switch, pedal rubber, and instruments. The BIG news is that my seats are done! I picked them up, as well as stuff to do the headliner. They turned out great! I had him do a map pocket on the front seat just like my old seat covers had and had him cover the backs too. Check it out:

Unfortuneatly I won't be able to work on it much till next week I think; I'm working tomorrow and it's me and the kiddo all weekend while the gal's workin.

Yep, all the black you see in the cab is bedliner besides the roof. I painted that with POR-15 since it had some surface rust. It's getting stick on insulation before the headliner goes up.

Thanks guys! It's going to be really nice not having foam bits falling out all over the place and getting in your eyes when you roll the windows down. :woohoo:

That black and white looks better than I thought it would. Good call. The seats look like they were worth the money, too.

Well, it's about 99% done. Yesterday I cut out my headliner pieces (thanks again to Doug Comer for including an old grubby rear section when I bought the truck; it was a perfect template) and painted the trim in wimbledon white. Today I got it all in and bolted in my new seats! The only things left are a few paint touch ups, sun visors, seat belts, and a few odds and ends. I drove it around the block and I can't believe how different it feels! It feels like I'm sitting about a foot higher than I was, even though it's probably only about 3 or 4 inches. Anyway, here are some pics!

Looks great!

Where did you find a crew cab headliner? Or did you make it?

Really nice! When you are done with the crew cab headliner template I could use it for mine.
