1968 300 inline six valve adjustment

I own a 1968 with a 300 inline six. it has 77777 mile on it. Do I need to adjust the valves?
I want to check them and maybe adjust them. I recently replaced the points ignition with
a duraspark from a 1979 and 1983 truck.
