Have a friend with a 94 f 150 that won't start. she is only getting about 8 volts to the fuel pump.
any one have that issue or would know what to check.? The fuel pump was recently replaced, but now this issue has come up.

The OEM Ford bumps used mechanical pumps.
I know that voltage can be changed to meet motor requirement. Also, DC can be changed to AC which would give you a fault reading if you a measuring DC Volts.
Try check pressure with gauge and check volume pumped. Also, I would check the filter(s) and any multi way valves in the fuel system. The valve has been known to go bad.
You might want to search internet and other Ford Truck forums for more suggestions.
Who replaced the pump? Maybe they would have some other ideas.
