Hello there!
It’s been awhile…
Driver side window will no longer roll up.
I went to take the crank off and the door arm rest so I could access the regulator…. But I can’t seem to tell what type of fastner it is? One looks like a screw and the others look like nuts. I kind of remember using a nut driver years ago but none of my nut drivers fits the head. Is there a trick to these I’m not aware of or a safe way to cut it off? The rain is coming tomorrow and I’d like to roll this window up

They are bolts with 3/8" hex heads but at a funny angle.

If , nobody "modified" it.pcmdub wrote:They are bolts with 3/8" hex heads but at a funny angle.
You might be able to pull on the glass and work the crank to close it
if you need to , you can use pliers , but put some tape on them to cushion the glass.

Re: Driver side arm rest removal 1972 F250
Thank you all for the help! Finally got it off and knowing it was a 3/8 hex was what finally jogged my feeble memory!!
Also had to help it with my own hand pulling up on the glass! Then I drenched everything in garage door lube and generously drenched the regulator… works like brand new with the exception that one of the interiors clips for the armrest snapped… so now have a sloppy arm rest… anyone know where I might get new clips for that armrest?

Re: Driver side arm rest removal 1972 F250
Hello again…. I may have not been clear on my original post, or it may be I have re-installed the arm rest improperly, but on the forward most screw that holds the armrest is not biting into anything but it seems there is a clip on that screw that is no longer attached to the door panel (corrosion or what I don’t know)
So nice and tight on the rear of the armrest but front is loose and sloppy
