Under Dash Air

Hello I have a 1967 Ford Ranger Pickup that my grandpa bought back in 1970. It has under dash air and he said it came with the truck when he bought it. I believe the system was dealer installed. I read that it was an option for pickups to have under dash air. My question is were there a lot of 1967 Ford Rangers with under dash air? Are they rare? How many came with under dash air? Thanks
