I'm getting ready to place a somewhat large order from LMC for my '68. On its last drive out I noticed that the driver window was a little difficult to roll up and down. It would even get to the point of jamming on the way down and up. I had to assist it a few times. On the last roll up of the window, before I put it up for the night, something snapped and now the crank is free spinning. Before I open the door up, what should I expect and what should I look for as the culprit?
TIA

Re: driver side window issues
It is called the "regulator".
It is a fairly simple replacement.

It does appear that you need a regulator. Also the arm extending from the regulator to the underside of the window ends with a nylon roller which moves along a track under the bar on which the window rests. Steel wool that track and apply a little grease which will make the movement easier. Good luck.
