Desperately looking for a 67 only brake master cylinder pushrod for manual brakes. This is from the pedal to the back of the master cylinder. Will pay top dollar. No good salvage yards here in Idaho.

Hey busboy try Master Power Brakes in Mooresville,N.C.,I think they may have new ones for sale and they are adjustable too.Good luck they are hard to find.
Thanks, I did find the adjustable ones they offer. I started to order one at a cost of 15.00 but their freight charge was a flat fee of 33.00!! I will still probably have to order one from them. What I don't understand is how master cylinder rebuilders sell units for this year model without the pushrod? The pushrod snaps into a one way, one time only Chinese finger type of retainer that is not reusable. This explains why my recently acquired truck has the incorrect, too short, later year model pushrod.

Well the truck seems all original. The previous owner was a farmer, need I say more. The master cyl looks like it was replaced but the pushrod was just dangling in the rear piston very loosely. My understanding is the 68 and up uses a shorter rod. My other 67 f-250 has the correct rod. I ordered one from Master power brakes this morning. If you call them instead of order online the shipping is much less.

I did have to to crawl under the dash several times to adjust the length.
The first time I had great brakes but the brake lights stayed on so I had to back off some.
