67 Ford F100

Post by 67Doors »

I have been in the process of restoring my 67. Driveline is all freshly rebuilt but the body needed a lot attention. Had a lot of hidden rust plus the pans needed to be replaced.

Truck when I first got it:

Found a lot of rust and bad repair jobs after bead blasting so next up was to sand blast the bad rust and DA the rest.

This is after the metal repair:

Now on to repair the 47 dents that was found then epoxy primed.

After epoxy primed along with a guide coat for block sanding:

Now it's time for some paint. I went back and forth on what colors but finally selected on grabber blue for the interior and upper half and performance white for the lower half. Decide not to paint the cab top white though.

Next up is some under coating and to start putting it back together. Also some wet sanding and a little buffing to get out some of the imperfections.

Thanks was going to paint the truck all gabber blue but decided that would be a little to much blue. I edited the post and added a a shot of the cab.
