New Memeber from Battle Ground, WA.
I figured since I had a '71 F100 and plan to keep it I would join a forum. I bought the pickup last fall for $1000.00 in Vancouver. It ran like crap but looked to be fairly solid with no major body damage and typical rust. It had a 4 speed/360 with power steering and power drum brakes which I thought was a bonus since it was a base model. I gave it a full tuneup but still had low vacuum. Found out the Brake booster was toast and after replacing it ran great. Engine is all stock and doesn't smoke or anything like that. Currently it's partially dismantled after replacing the floor boards and both front cab corners. I also put in a C6 and am now gradually putting it back together for now. Below is a pic of the way it looked before I tore into it and a shot of one of the completed cab corners.
