I’ve seen the tech article on the m5r2 but still have a few questions. Anybody know if there is enough room on firewall for the clutch master cylinder when you have power brakes? Also I need more detail on how the clutch master cylinder rod welds to the clutch pedal. Pictures would be great!!

The clutch master cylinder mounts to the right (passenger side) of the firewall brace. I mounted it as close as I could get it to the brace so that it lined up with the clutch pedal lever inside the cab. I had to clearance the brace so I could unscrew the MC cap. I also had custom pedal bushings made by my brother Kraig to offset the pedal even more to the right so that it was a straight shot to the master cylinder. I cut the stock lever off the pedal and clocked it (about 135 degrees)to the backside so that with the pedal to the floor it was parallel to the firewall.

Thanks Kevin. I thought for a min that I would go to a t19 or m5r2 but after researching and seeing all the cutting welding and fabbin I think I'll pass on my current bump. Down the road when I get a beater I'll try the swap. I may swap chunks out to a higher 325 gear and see how she runs on top end.
