Well, you can start anytime. Ask your question(s) in the appropriate section. Or, you can do a search on it. I would expect that most questions have been asked and answered before.

The thing that I have noticed that sets FORDification apart from all other forums (well, most forums) is this.
On other forums if a simple question gets asked, like, "What wheels look good on my truck?" a moderator will answer with, "That question has been asked to many times. Do a search!" and lock the thread.
Here, the simple question gets answered as if it was never asked before.

Yes, I do a search first and so should you, but that doesn't always work well. And certain things must be dealt with on an individual basis, as in, "My truck makes this strange noise, what should I do?"

Well, thak you. I was being half- unserious... but seriously i dont want to be "that guy. I'm pretty sure i have a pretty good handle on the basics but it's good to know that when I run into something I cant handle, I won't get slapped around for asking.... Preciate it man.

:wel: from Richmond, Virginia. This site is great. I have asked many a stupid question, some that were already asked and answered before. I have yet to find a unwelcome response. Great group of people on here who really know their stuff. FOr many common things you can find some answers by searching first. But never be afraid to just ask. :fr:

jayineasttn wrote:thanks guys, looks like my first prob to tackle will be the oil in the antifreeze... ugh. gonna run a compression check tomorrow, then most likely pull the heads and pan and see how bad it is. One dead cyl for sure so I'm hoping to be able to do the rings thru the pan without pulling the whole block. Then address the interior lights, speedo, weird shifter, (every time you hit first you punch the dash... huh?), the horrid exhaust, the 16.5 inch rims, ... ooh lord, why did I have to start listing this stuff?
:wel: On the bright side, You dont have to worrie about leaveing part of your scalp on the hood latch

actually already did that... i was standing on the bumper pullin the plug wires off one at a time to see which ones were actually doin anything and zapped myself and BANG. Luckily i had a hat on... total of 3 dead cylinders so im doin a redneck ring job as soon as i get the cash together. Then tires- 37-12.50/ 16.5s- and exhaust and should be good for the street.
