...and then I got started on something I've been debating about doing since I got this bed: welding up all the bed seams. Whoever assembled this box on the assembly line was having a good day, and all the seams are lined up very well, so filling these in will actually be pretty easy.

That's the only section I got done tonight before a migraine sent me home, but I thought it was a good start. It's definitely gonna take some time, but I think it'll look really good when I'm done. They'll still need a very thin layer of filler, but overall what I got done so far came out feeling pretty smooth after the welds were ground down.
Unfortunately, I won't be able to do this with the hood or the rear cab seams, because the edges don't line up very well, and it would take a lot of work to smooth them out. But since these box seams are lined up great, I decided to take the plunge and fill 'em in.
