I was wondering if anyone knew why the emergency brake, the ignition switch holder cup, the pedal assembly, and the dash support bracket were not painted from the factory? Was it a cost savings measure, or is there some grounding purpose for these items? The emergency brake is painted where you can see it but unpainted where you can't see it. Just wondering, as I don't want to paint these items if there is some grounding reason for them being bare metal.
Thanks

No ,they were just saving time and money.
