Ford heads are generally not very good on the exhaust side, so you’ll find a lot of people (me included) like to run more exhaust duration and lift. That 268H is a single pattern cam and a very old design at that. I would go with the Thumpr all day every day out of those 2.

Ok, I will go with the Thumper. Thanks for that info
That is a Radiator SUPPORT mounting kit. It is basically the front set of body mounts.
I need to come up with a DIY for this. $60 for this is a bit much.
Block and crank are at the machine shop. As soon as I get word from them I am ordering the Federal Mogul kit. I found a bent exhaust valve and one exhaust valve was sticking open. I am sure that was and issue with loss of power. Inside the valve guide had a bunch of sticky oil in it. Cleaned it so its smooth now.

If you're using a 302 block, you'll need 302 pushrods, but if any mill work has been done to the heads, you'll need to measure them to get the correct size or your pistons might rudely introduce themselves to your valves.

SO upon finding out my head bolts are 7/16" BUT I have 351 heads that use 1/2". I noticed that in order to run 351 heads there are step washers that are required. I did not have step washers on my set up. I don't know if this was done from the factory or not. what should I do now?
