Source for Boxwood green rattlecan?

Post by redstone65 »

Anybody know of a source for boxwood green in a spray can? I can’t seem to find anything from the normal companies like duplicolor. Just need for some touch up.

Don’t know specifically for boxwood green but you might try these;

Duplicolor Engine Enamel in Detroit Deisel will be darker. Prepare your spot and feather in some of this paint.
While it is still wet overlay some Krylon Satin Jade into the Duplicolor, it might be close.

The engine enamel is good paint for adhesion, don’t really need primer with it either. lightly spraying some of the Krylon on top of it will make it lighter and might blend to something that’s acceptable - better than nothing.

Sometimes Walmart has the Satin Jade. Or maybe one of the other Krylon colors will look like a better match.

Thanks for the advice. I'm restoring the steering column right now and will need to paint it. It's boxwood green, so I'll need something close to match. I'll just carry the column tube to walmart and see what I can find. :-)

A " good " auto paint supply store can make a spray can in any color available.
