Has anyone here purchased from them?
I'm specifically thinking about a 56" rolling cabinet.

I know about Harbor freight, I'm reading on GG that these are a little better, but buying something like this without seeing one is a bit of a crap shoot...
If some one close had one they were willing to show off all the better...

Re: http://www.strictlytoolboxes.com
Those r alot of money. I have a pretty good stackable set. The bottom is a craftsman 6 draeer bottom. The top is a master mechanis 6 drawer three levels. 3 on the top level and two full length drawers on the other two levels. I do think i need a miuddle box with 2 or 3 drawers more. Ive got 120.00 in these 2 boxes. The top box i got on sale. The bottom i got at a sears scratch and dent store. Minus the wheels..
One thing i would look fir in a tool box. Is good rollers guides for the drawers. And a goid number of drawers. Those boxes with the empty bin at the bottom are a waste fir junk ti pile up in.

Agree with this. I have a old Craftsman, Waterloo and a (black) HF box. The Craftsman and Waterloo are simply made better, especially the drawers and rollers. I see the HF red boxes are quite a bit more, perhaps they are better than the one I purchased.fordman wrote:One thing i would look fir in a tool box. Is good rollers guides for the drawers. Thanks for the Info. That was a good Article the guy had. I Have one of those craftsman box's with the open storage area, total waste of space.

Re: http://www.strictlytoolboxes.com
that is a great article. I am fixing to go to HF and buy on of those for my fab shop. I have been needing to buy one and was looking real hard at the Home depot one because it is handy to our shop. this part is off topic but when in HF today I notice that they had the floor model sand blaster on sale for 199. sure looks tempting . anyone use one of those?
thanks for the link that was a great article.

We use the red US General 5 drawer tool cart at work, one assigned to each press's work area. I've been pretty impressed by its durability, haven't had any issues with it at all, except for 2nd shift not putting the tools back where they are supposed to be. And yes, there is even a picture of where each tool goes!

Re: http://www.strictlytoolboxes.com
So to update this:
I never did order from the strictly tool boxes website. I've been keeping my eye out for one of their brands somewhere in my travels but never saw one.
I've looked at Harbor Freight many times, and with the 100.00 off the 56" cabinet coupon this month I fired the old F100 up and went on down. My nearest store only had one so they loaded it up for me.
I noticed in the store that he box had a couple of chunks out of it, but based on the labeling we thought it was the back.
Got it home and unboxed - looks like it fell off the truck - the aluminum strips and mangled, 2 of the drawers are bent and about half the latches are broken ... so I went back down and the manager said he would trade it out or give me even more off...
So I ended up with a new damaged 56" cabinet for less than 5 bills... Which I thought was a great deal. I was thinking I would probably take the latches off anyway.
