Parting Out 1972 F100 Parts Truck

Post by donutcat »

Have most of a 1972 F100 LWB that we've had sitting in the back yard as a parts truck for the past two years. Looks to have either a 360 or 390 with a C6. Rear end is a Ford 9" with 3.00 gears and 31 spline axles. Has a almost my completely intact grill and both headlight buckets. Radiator support is solid. Most of the front clip is there and solid. Looks to be one of the fancier trim packages, maybe Ranger, and the majority of the cab trim is there. Hood trim is intact. Bed is gone, steering column is gone. Situated just north of Shelby, NC. Not able to ship anything at this time. We just pulled it up beside the garage today so I'll get some pictures tomorrow when it's daylight.

Edit: Is actually 131" wheelbase, not SWB.

Id like to have that piece of moulding on the lower part of the door on the driver side. I'll take that gas cap too.

Sorry I haven't gotten back to anyone, I've been busy with elbow surgery and bone issues in my feet, so getting around has been a chore.

I'll be going out later when it's cooled off some to pull the radio out and test if it works. Granddad says $75+ shipping for it and all its bits if it works. Should be able to fit in a decently small box even when all bubblewrapped and shouldn't be any more than $20.05 via USPS depending on weight.

Will pull it when I get out this evening. Everything's there,a bit rough moving through the slide, can probably WD40 it back to working order. Granddad says $30 + shipping, which should be no more than $20.05 depending on packaged weight.

I'll check the cap to make sure the inside's not all rotten, probably no more than a few bucks. Molding might be hit or miss, the previous owner used screws to hold several other pieces of it to the truck when the original clips failed, so I'll see how it's held on tonite. Shipping it might be an issue as we don't have anything to ship it in currently.

There's actually already plans for it, and shipping it would be a pain as well as costly.

Thank you for checking on that.

Id also be interested in the ignition switch bezel that holds the switch to the dash if you still have it. Im in no hurry. If that moulding is ok Id be fine waiting till whenever you could find a box.

Thanks again.

Do you have a set of '68 - '72 interior door panels?
(Like the one in this picture except without the holes circled in blue.)

If so how much for 2 shipped to 39443?
