'67 SWB hotrod
I've done a few things and collected a few parts. Driver's fender and bedside have the trim holes welded, bodywork done, and primer sprayed on. Today I cleaned up the air cleaner I bought Friday, and the valve covers I got last month and shot them with some Ford blue.

Re: '67 SWB hotrod
I went this weekend and got a few things off my parts truck. Passenger fender, original jack and handle, taillight lenses and trim, gas tank. Just a question....why in the world did Ford put the rear fender brace with on with no drain holes in the bottom? Both mine are rusted at the bottom, so I gotta make 1 outta 2.

Re: '67 SWB hotrod
I got some good weather today and didn't have to work on the house or yard. I stripped and painted the inside of my passenger door and both replacement door panels.

Re: '67 SWB hotrod
I like the VC's too. I would put them on my new motor, but roller rockers are too tall. I thought about a spacer, but who really wants to pay $100+ for valve cover spacers when you can get aluminum ones for the same price or even less?
Nice work. I'll be following along!

Re: '67 SWB hotrod
I am running roller rockers on my T-bird and they wouldn't clear my stock valve covers. So, out of curiosity, I tried a "powered by ford" cover that I had found and kept while hauling scrap. It worked! I only had one, so I had to "hammer clearance" the other side to fit. Since you can't even see the driver's side cover, I haven't seen a reason to swap it. I got this pair in a convoluted trade deal.

What rockers are you running on your T-bird?

I bought 'em used and they don't have any mfg. info on them, but I kinda figured they were maybe from Proform.

Just left the junk yard where I got a driver's door and a bumper. I'll go back Saturday to pick up my complete front suspension from a '73-'79. Just call me "The Parts Collector"!

Re: '67 SWB hotrod
Went and got my disc brake front end. I told the guy at the junkyard what I needed earlier in the week so he had it waiting for me. I took my wife's van only to find out that he had just torched the entire frame off right behind the radius arms. Not to be denied, I loaded the whole works (don't tell my wife!)
