Thanks, I really liked this color because it had a lot of pearl, it changes a lot in different light. I'm a silver fan though.
I'm hoping the bedliner will hold up well on the underside. It seems really tough and is harder than rhino, has a slicker finish. Should clean really easily when it's dirty. I hated to cover it up w sound deadener and eventually. :/

I like the look of that Fat Mat. How was it to lay down?

Thanks. The fatmat is pretty easy to put in, and seems to stick well. I've been using the cheesy roller they sent, as well as a screwdriver handle to press it into the grooves. I doubled it up in most places.

How much did it take to do the cab?Coupe5oh wrote:Thanks. The fatmat is pretty easy to put in, and seems to stick well. I've been using the cheesy roller they sent, as well as a screwdriver handle to press it into the grooves. I doubled it up in most places.
Did you do the doors and headliner?

Re: 67- SWB, CV swap, 2007 3v 4.6/ 5 sp
I bought it a long time ago to use some on my mustang, I think it's 100 sq ft. I remember it cost me $125 or so at the time. There are two rolls about 18" wide. i I have done the headliner and parts of the firewall of the truck (single), and the floors double. I'm still not into the second roll. So I'll have gobs left to do the doors. I still haven't figured out if I'm gonna do any on the back wall of the cab yet.

I don't have a lot more that aren't repetitive. I'll try to update when I make a little more progress. If there's something in particular you want to see I can take some.

Not a lot to report, but I have been getting a little bit accomplished. Gutted the auto steering column and filled the holes where the gear indicator and shifter were. I got the column bolted in and I'm about ready to build a steering shaft.
My wife bought me a dashpad for Christmas, so I got it put in tonight. I might be jumping the gun on that a little but I had to see how it looked.

Excellent work. I noticed in some of the earlier pictures, you had the rear most cross member installed, but it wasn't painted. Do you have a picture of the final set up of the fuel tank? Are you going to fill from the bed floor or reroute?

This is the best pic I have, and how it sits now. I'd like to move the filler somewhere other than the middle of the bed floor (just to be different), but I doubt if space will really allow for that. The top of the tank is pretty flush with the top of the frame. Have you seen any done differently? I'd be open to suggestions.

Looks great. I'm about to order a tank to put in the rails. Is that a 70 mustang 22 gal tank?? Thanks

Thanks. I'm pretty sure it's a 69 20 gallon tank. It's been so long since I bought it I forget.
