Bump this.

I have an F250 and I am trying to move to parts less traveled. I need a whole new chass, or a whole new frame? perhaps both? Perhaps neither if I told you I was able to cut and weld?

It as hard as you want to make it. Leaf is simple quick and easy. Also technically i went both routs. Did the solid axle swap then a body swap. And if we want to play flex pics coil overs with a link set up will all ways beet leaf. One just cost a hole lot more than another.

Driving up some thing that's almost vertical is a little bit different then a hill.

and lastly body swap rout.

Leaf spring vehicles can articulate as good as anything else.

My '70 was built with the same Willock frame. Works fantastic and you can't touch what it can do with coils. Had the rear tires over the cab roof several times.

The right tools, trans, t-case, axles all ready to go. If you want it done fast have every thing ready to go and waiting. Also the ability to fab is a must if you cant cut and welled don't bother. Here is a link http://www.supermotors.net/registry/17494/60039 to all my sas pics from doing it on my bronco some ideas will transfer over others only apply to 80 to 96 trucks.

67-72 the Easiest way to make it 4x4 is find a trashed 4x4 truck and bolt your body on it.
