Would a Hobart Autoarc 130 mig welder work for most body patches on the old truck. I found one on Craigs list for $300.00 For what it is I should be able to get it for a lot less but wnat to make sure it will suite my needs before I make an ofer.

Thanks

Just looked at one yesterday.... http://www.tractorsupply.com/mig-welder ... PricingCmd

So if the tank is include and you can get it under 300 and it's in good working shape :woohoo:

And to answer your Question....mig's with gas are 100% better welding sheet metal than the flux core wire models. Thin metal welding is touchy and practice is the only way to learn. I'm jumpin in late here, but it sounds like ya have welding skills on other machines....so your that much ahead of the game
I've had enough and I'm not alone

Give it time, you'll eventually want a bigger welder!
