Post by da476 »

hi, i need some help figuring out wha i have. i have what i think is a 1969 2x4 body on a 1972 swb 4x4 frame. it has converted power streering i think from late 70's. the front axle has converted disc brakes from what i dont know, but the axle tags reads DT2A-JA 603303-1 is this factory 1972? how do i find out what the spindels are off of? thanks for any info. great site.

I would guess the axle is a 72. But thats just what the tag says. If your concerned about the spindles and bearings I would just use the bearing # when buying new bearings.

Probably. Sorry I can't give you a 100% answer. Its hard to say what the previous owner did.
