Another from WA

Post by float_tested »

Purchased my parents farm truck from them about 2 months ago. It's a '69 F100, custom cab, long bed, 360 2 wheel with 250,000 miles on it. First thing so far was to sandblast the bed and put spray liner in it. It looks awesome.

Was planning on putting headers in and snapped off 6 studs pulling off the exhaust manifolds. Since the motor didn't seem to have been rebuilt except for valve jobs I decided to pull motor and send to a rebuild shop and beef it up to a 390 with a RV cam and changed to 4 barrel intake and carb. Broke in motor today by adjusting carburetor only. It has only headers on so it sounded like a race car, awesome.

Tomorrow it is headed to the exhaust shop and hopefully putting duel 2.5 exhaust magnaflows on it. It has the extra gas tank so I am hoping that the exhaust shop can work with it.

Its good to be on the site. My other project is a '72 bronco sport (It hasn't been getting much attention last 2 months).

Nice looking truck! Welcome to the site!

Where abouts in Lake Stevens are you? Just curious, as I lived out on 60th just east of Lake Cassidy as a kid. Beautiful area, kind of wish I was still there. :)
