hey I have a question how can i possibly fix the gap in a f250 4x4 in between the bed and cab ill be using around a 73-76 frame and ive heard that its 2" longer

guess i should also mention the body i was gonna buy sold so im back on the lookout for another body to put on the f250 4x4 frame and im in missouri

if you want i can post a picture of how much of a gap there actually is when this swap is done
I don't really care about brands Chevy Ford Dodge ...as long as it doesn't sound like two old dudes farting in a coffee can.

i have a body that isnt too bad. the cab needs soem work. the bed well i dont know i have several of them. none are perfect.

i have been lookin around here one guy told me he would sell one to me just to make an offer i have seen yours stevec and am trying to figure out how to fix that there are still several at the salvage yards around my area

The correct way would be to move the rear differential 2" closer to the front, and mount the box as close to the cab as normal.

Or you could split the difference and have a 1" bigger gap behind the cab, and the rear wheels 1" off center. Think mine is more like 3/4" wider behind the cab and 1 1/4" off at the rear wheels.

Eventually I will move the rear end up and fix the gap and centering problems. The really neat way to fix this would be to make the back of the cab 2" longer. You would have more room inside for storage and speakers and what not, but that would be a major undertaking.
