I don't think ive ever seen this done to such a newer frame.
I take it you have some fabrication skillz? Because you will need them!

Off the top of my head I believe the newer frames are wider and have a different shape to them.

Also since you posted this in the 4x4 section what kind of advantage are you hoping to gain from the newer frame?

Personally I would box the older frame before I bothered with a newer frame.

Specs for the frame and the bump would be useful to.

the bump is actually a 2 wheel drive. the 92 is a 4 wheel drive that i have a new windsor in and a sterling rear end and a lot cleaner frame . thought also by going this way i would be saving liscense and insurance on 2 trucks by combining the 2 trucks into one . would like to find someone who has done this swap already to get their opinion on it .

here is the 52 international l-110 this truck has an actual 9 foot bed!! i had to cut and lengthen the chassis (75 highboy)19 inches to catch the wheel base though,,one hurdle to jump,,many more after that

cool looking projects guys . i am having second thoughts now about this swap . i have a 1975 high boy frame to use also .this might be my better way . my 1971 bump is rust free well worth the trouble to put it on a 4x4 frame .the bumps look so cool setting on a 4x4 frame with 35 x12.50 tires aluminum slots and a 4 inch suspension lift

let me put it this way... im in the middle of this swap...and its way easier to just swap frames.... i can just look at the two frames and see a world of difference in just the shape.
I don't really care about brands Chevy Ford Dodge ...as long as it doesn't sound like two old dudes farting in a coffee can.

I wouldn't do all that work to only have a Dana 50 TTB under the front end.

I know a guy that has a '67 crew cab bump on an '05 Superduty frame. This thing is highly modified, he went all out. Which reminds me, I never went to get pictures of it, I'll have to go do that soon.

I no a guy who did this he took a 69 bump and put it on a 97 frame but the only reson he did this swap is because of the 7.3 disel and 5speed and he is running the sterling and a 60 front. He even used most all of the interior out of the 97. He did a good job but he has alot of time and work in it. The only thing I did not like about his swap is the gap between the bed and the cab was like 3" so I think the wheel base is a little different. I say anything is possible it just depends on how much work you want to do and the kind of tools you have to work with.

As with the TTB 50 you could always change it over to a 60 later down the road.

Cool project, I have a '56 S-120 someone put a 304 in, they cut the frame, remounted the steering box and on and on
I was thinking of putting the body on an '86 F350 4x4 diesel...
I would like to see how yours turns out
