Well, I went over to Mike and his son Stephen's house Saturday (known on these forums as 71-F-250SC-72-F-250C), and got their '71 F-250, which was exactly as they described in their post. The frame and rear end are excellently done, and they got the front end together enough to get it on my buddy's trailer without much trouble, i.e. four rolling wheels. After a couple of more trips on Saturday, and 3-4 trips Sunday, I got it all. It is going to be an interesting project putting it all back together, but I am grateful for the opportunity to help them out, and to get the chance to put together a truck from the frame up.

Very overwhelming at this point, and I'm gonna be asking 100's of questions, but I can't wait to get started.
They have already gotten the rear end installed, the front end is in-work already to being changed over to disc brakes. The cab is sitting on the frame, which was sandblasted and powdercoat-painted and looks awesome. The rear end and springs were painted as well, and look great. Other than that, for the most part, it needs to be put back together. They have the original engine parts, which was a 360, and that is disassembled as well. Not sure what I am gonna do about a motor for the truck. May rebuild the 360 as is, rebuild it as a 390, take the mostly rebuilt 390 out of my '69 and put it in this one-heck, I could even go wild and put in a 460 or something!

Leaning toward the 390, though-just like those after rebuilding one!
Once again, a huge THANKS

to Mike and Stephen for allowing me to have this truck (as in, FREE!

)! I can understand the need to regain a garage after starting a project such as this, and I am honored to get the chance to continue what they started. Couldn't have ran into nicer folks if I tried!
And now, without wasting any more time, some pics:
