"Starting bid: US $15,000.00
"You are bidding on a 1970 F100 Explorer Special
with only 358 miles on it. It was bought new in
Colorado by a man who became unable to drive right
after he bought it. He kept the truck until 1976 and
traded it to the Ford dealer in Yuma, Colorado. The
dealer put the truck in storage for many years, thus
the low mileage.
"The truck is equipped with a 360 V8 engine,
automatic transmission, power steering & brakes,
custom package with Explorer package, "grabber" blue
exterior, factory bed rails, mag style wheel covers,
Ford swing lock stainless mirrors, and factory rear
step bumper.
"The condition of the truck is as close to new
condition as can be. The engine compartment is
detailed perfectly. The exterior paint shines like
new. All the chrome is in excellent condition. The
interior even smells like new. The original exhaust
is still good. Underneath looks good. The truck runs
like new. The original OK is on the valve cover and
the tag is still on the transmission from the
factory. All the original factory decals and tags
are still intact. There is one small dent, 1 inch,
on the rear of the roof--it is hardly noticeable.
The interior, paint, tires, undercarriage and
drivetrain are all absolutely original.
"This truck is as close to being a new 1970 F-100 as
there is. No disappointments." |
