heater switch help !

Post by ladz »

Can someone tell me how the switch settings work ? We have the plug into the switch and the other end has a plug end also ! If i power the red wire to the switch the variable speed does not work, it only works on hi or off ! There are four wires coming from the switch , low , med , high speed and power ! What i do not know is where the setting for the speed wiring went too !

I'm not exactly sure what you are describing, but there is a resistor in the heater box that the harness plugs into. The resistor controlls the fan speed.

See if this makes sense:

The two resistors are for the low and medium speeds, no resistor is high speed.

"Are you gonna make it all 220?"
"Yeah 220, 221, whatever it takes."
