Rebuilding 1970 F-100 302, C-4 transmission.
So.. I am replacing the cooler lines of the transmission and accidently threw away the brass fittings that connect the lines to the radiator. I've done a lot of searching online but cant seem to find what the size of the fittings are. Can anyone help?
Thanks,
C-4 Trans Lines Fittings

This says 5/16but probably refers to the tube diameter. Maybe you’d like to buy it.

Most radiators are 1/8 pipe and the lines are 5/16 inverted flare. That makes the fitting male 1/8 pipe x 5/16 female inverted flare.

They are not pipe thread but are a little different ( the side that goes into the transmission). I got some from a mustang place sorry I don't remember which one. But it was easy to find doing a search. Or you may find some used ones if you get lucky

Re: C-4 Trans Lines Fittings
The C4/C6 have 1/4" fittings but they are NOT tapered like an NPT. They are "NPS", and if you use an NPT, it WILL fit, but then weep fluid because the point of contact (on the taper) is too short. I switched to a frame cooler and used AN6 lines to get rid of the hard lines to the front radiator. Here is that adapter if you want to do that.
