Sir what is your thoughts on powder coating a 1974 grill? I’ve never seen a white grill on one and think it would go great on my patina baby blue f100

Interesting, the 74 grille is a large surround made of aluminum and plastic. You can powder coat the surround, (at least that's what I have read) I believe you'll have to strip any anodizing off both sides then prep and coat. As for the plastic pieces, there are plastic primers that supply good adhesion for a rattle can paint job. Ideally best if you have a spare plastic piece to practice with.
I've never had the need to powder coat aluminum, but I'd try it in a heart beat.
