Fellas,
My alternator light has been coming on at low RPMs but tends to go out at higher RPMs. I had the parts store test it and they said it was dead. I just installed a new one and it's doing the exact same thing as the old. So, the alternator itself doesn't appear to be the issue. I've checked my ground and it is secure. I'd appreciate any wisdom or ideas where to begin looking.
Thanks for you help.

Re: Alternator Problem
I 'd try a new voltage regulator .
And a good volt meter is nice to have , it'll pay for itself in time.

Re: Alternator Problem
Many thanks for the advice. It was the voltage regulator. Up and running now.

Re: Alternator Problem
Rebuilt units are often bad right out of the box. Take the alternator back and have the store test it.
