Hello From North Idaho
Here's a couple photos of my new (to me) rig.
1969 F250 4x4 300 cid manual four speed
I am new to these old trucks having previously been a Mustang guy. I guess old age tends to change one's priorities...
Anyway, thrilled to have found this forum and have been reading past posts as time permits. Obviously some great wisdom here!
I am planning on installing a new headliner, seat cover and original style chrome rear bumper. Any suggestions on what should be my priorities would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, -Chris

Super nice looking truck. Want to see what you get for new seat upholstery.

Beautiful truck. I followed this sale as well. Did the seller ever disclose that it was a body-swap truck?

No, but I did not ask him about it either. I was aware it was a swap, as I did notice that the chassis VIN does not match the door VIN. As you know the rig currently has a 300 6 though the chassis VIN indicates it was originally built with a 360 V8. I am not concerned about a non-number matching truck since I was after a driver. I went into the deal eyes wide open.idaho_cowboy wrote:Beautiful truck. I followed this sale as well. Did the seller ever disclose that it was a body-swap truck?

The body is real straight and the frame looks great with just normal surface rust. No play in the steering and fairly tight ride from a 50 year old rig. Brakes nice and straight although the brake light is on suggesting some bleeding is in order. I'm sure I'll find more surprises once I've lived with it for awhile, but all and all I am quite happy. Been looking for awhile...
