
Now, it's all the little stuff: timing, adjusting the carb, etc. But it ran! I am stoked (you can probably tell). After reading stories that "the first 20 minutes are the most important for the cam lobes," I was a bit paranoid. I couldn't tell any difference in sound from the beginning to the end, so I'm fairly certain that I didn't round off any lobes. I am running with an "RV cam," so it's far from radical. For now, I'm a happy camper. Now it's off to the next battle (leaking rear seal on the tranny).
