Okay, so I have a long-tail (automobile) C6 in my '67 F250. I'm rebuilding a different C6 in the garage, and I have both a long-tail and short-tail output shaft and output housing. I would rather go with the short-tail, but this would mean a new front driveshaft. I've looked at tons of numbers, and every new table just confuses me more. So, does anyone know the length of the front driveshaft when using a C6 transmission, and where the measurements are being taken? Yes, I've seen the page in the tech section, but it doesn’t show where the measurements are taken. Any help?
