To all the ladies on the board, I apologize in advance for the next statement.

Women should NOT drive.

If you look in my gallery, notice how my truck isn't perfect, but looks pretty nice. Not anymore. On my way to take my girlfriend out to lunch to celebrate her new job, some stupid woman with a cell phone glued to her ear in a Dodge Durango decided that her turning into the thrift shop was FAR more important than obeying the rules of the road and hit the front passenger fender and wheel of my truck. Which made me fishtail and smack a light pole with the back left corner of the bed, mauling it.

I'm so angry I'm shaking.

sorry to hear it but its not only women. its people in dodges. i have been hit by two dodges in the last two weeks and almost side swiped by one. if you look around most of the beat up trucks are dodges.

Sorry to hear of the mishap. I still think they need to ban cell phone use in cars.

And no, the headsets DONT work. At least on most people. They are still too busy talking and not paying attention to where/what they are doing. Almost laid down my bike several times last year from these morons.

Out here in So Cal you can't swing a dead cat without hittin' an under skilled driver (ette) vainly attempting to multi-task with eyes focused on something other then the road...

Well, now that I've settled down somewhat...

I'm really impressed by how durable my old beast actually is. It REALLY crunched the front of her rig...and fortunately, she has insurance.

I'll post pictures of the truck tomorrow.

Be ready to have it totalled and buy it back from their insurance. It's gauranteed with something this old. Make sure you get the most $$$ possible!

I'll keep my eye out for a good bed and fender locally.

EDIT: Just looked at your gallery. Make sure their insurance gets pics so they know it was in real good condition.
