Passenger side window rolls down a little by itself?

Post by 67lunargreen »

I finally found a 67 window crank that works well but the window will fall down about 1/4 inch when driving. I tried moving the handle around thinking the weight would help but to no avail. Has anyone had this problem before? :?

have you checked the spring on the regulator? sometimes they break and there is not enough tension to keep the glass steady.

I know this is useless as far as information goes for you, but I had to laugh. We had a late 40's GMC grain truck at the farm that did the same thing every bump you hit. I don't remember what issue dad found with that truck, but I just remember dad letting loose with a string of explatives every time he hit a bump and it slammed down. I know the pain, but I think we had to pull out the whole mechanism and source a new one. It really is a pretty easy job to take care of if that is it.
