67-72 Ford Dually Bed?

Does anyone happen to know if Ford had a dually bed for the 67-72 bump side style. I would assume it would only be on the long bed variants if it existed. I have seen a few examples of this online, but I don't know if they are custom or factory. Anyone else know?

Nope. Check the factory literature section. The dually bed didn't become popular until the mid 70's. For our trucks the thought was to section four F500 or larger front fenders to make the dually fender for the side of the bed.

I know this thread is getting a little old but I'm curious what the process is with these fenders. You said use 4 f500 fenders. Is that 4 total or 4 a side?

You slice four in half, and use the trailing edges from each side to make a symmetrical fender. Takes four to make two dually fenders, but it should be pretty much contoured to fit the bed, and the bump body line is already in the sheet metal.

The dually above uses early 60s Chevy fenders... the contour lines up nicely with the bump... and it's within 1/2-inch in height from the bottom to the bump.
