Dana 24 to NP205
Hey just wondering what people have done about the speedo cable not matching up when doing a DANA 24 to NP 205 t-case swap?

Re: Dana 24 to NP205
I did this swap in the spring of this year.
I picked up my 205 at a salvage yard and when they removed it from the truck they didn't take the time to remove the speedo cable..... they just cut it off leaving it connected to the 205 with a few inches of cable.
Anyway, I removed the existing speed-o cable from my truck and also the connector from the 205 and took them to a local SPeedometer shop. They removed the end off the old cable and pressed on the correct new one. Took 5 minutes and cost ~$12.00

I did the swap. There's a website if you google it. They make an adapter that goes into the np205 and allows you to thread the cable into the adapter.
