Let's start with the headliner... originally it was the OEM perforated hardboard which had warped. Some patience and this showed up in the salvage yard. Tuck and roll for $20!

Applied Eastwood Rust Encapsulator on selected portions of the floor and then started laying down Dynamat Extreme.

Made my own roller too.....

Pulled the trans cover, Dynamatted, and sealed it up with aluminum HVAC tape from HD.

Applied a new rubber seal instead of the stick strip caulk. Got it from HD and doubly made sure that it wasn't going anywhere with 3M weatherstip adhesive... the corners have little relief cuts so there is only one seam.

Pulled the rig in the garage, pulled the bench (whew!), cleaned the sheet metal, layed out where the bucket seats brackets are positioned and drilled the pre-dimpled holes (thanks Ford!), and continued to apply Dynamat. Also redrilled the fuel tank selector hole because the factory had installed it in the wrong place.

Installed the carpet (whew!), then the brackets, and finally bolted the seats to the brackets.

Working on door panels now. I've got a center console from a 95 F150 XLT to complement the interior. It'll need to be raised three inches because it's a touch low...
Here how she sits.... DJM beams and an axle flip.

... to be continued.
