69 ranger 360 with a t18 4speed. My dad bought this truck special order in 69 and it has been in the family ever since then. For me growing up this truck was there for us, when our newer cars broke down and even when we was broke and needed the money my father refused to sell the truck. Dad had many offers on it and always said he was saving it for the kids. In 1996 the truck was bad off, it was running on 4 cylinders had bad valves it was parked and nearly forgotten. When my dad passed away in 2000 it resparked my interest in the truck. I began tearing it down to the frame and had the engine block machined and ready for a rebuild, then life got in the way the truck set in the backyard in pieces and the city wanted to have it towed. With a little help from my wife's family I was able to store it In a barn about 100 miles away and it was forgotten again. After about 5 more years and countless vehicle projects I decided to finally do something with the truck I went and drugg it out of that barn, towed it to my new house and with a little help from a donor truck and a hell of a lot of work Including all new brakes and brake lines, fuel lines, wiring, clutch, ect. On Feb 10 2015 For the first time in almost 20 years I could turn the key and hear the truck fire to life it was a pretty surreal moment for me and a truck most had given up for dead, and I am sure my dad would have been just as proud.
