Post by powerstroke_puller »

hey guys. I have a 1968 F-150 cab (including doors, dash and seat), short bed, fenders, front clip, hood, grille, gas tank, ect... pretty much everything but the frame and powertrain. I do however have the zf5/t205 and dana 60 out of a early 90's F-250. (you can see where this project was going LOL) these items are located in santa nella CA. about 30 min east of gilroy and 1 hour from san jose. any questions call Geoff 408 314-6434

How much for the cab? Is it rust free and ready to go? I would need to arrange to have it shipped across the country.

I need the two duct connectors that hold the defrost ducting to the dash.... They go under the dash pad and are the round pieces that the defrost ducting attach to.

They are located in these defrost holes under the dash pad:

Let me know if you have both of them and how much you want for them shipped to SoCal? They should easily fit in one of the Priority Mail $5 boxes... I can paypal you immediately if you have them or can send you a check. I just need them sooner than later as I am putting my truck back together and just found out I am missing these. Because of that, my whole heater/AC install and buttoning up my dash is on hold...

Thanks!

I appreciate the help on those duct connectors... Hopefully you have them and can send me a picture so I can make sure they are what I need (but I am sure they are).

As for that bed, you should be able to sell that no problem!! The short beds are in demand. If you had that bed down here in the LA area, you could sell the bed alone for over $500. I have seen the short beds go for that in good shape. Too bad you weren't closer because I would buy that bed up from under you in a heartbeat (and I don't even need it right now! ) That grille should go for good money too! Looks to be in great shape.

I actually just sold a grill on eBay in far worse condition than yours for 180$. Maybe you should try putting your stuff up for sale there. Its a larger market place.

Wife would kill me if I bought that bed, so for my safety, I need to pass. I just know that when I am looking for a shortbed down the road, I wont be able to find one...

But you should have no problem selling that bed, and for good money. That bed and grille alone should fetch you a pretty penny. I sold a cab not too long ago for $250 on Craigslist and a long bed for another $200. I sold a pair of doors for $150, and a 9 inch rear for $400. Just giving you some prices I got when I parted out a truck on craigslist... Your short bed should sell for more and that grille is really nice. At least 200 on that if not more. On eBay, you will probably get between 300 and 400 on that grille.
