Under dash AC unit, compressor, condenser, drier complete.

Post by patrickdotryan »

The good: I just removed this Leddy and Hall Mark IV AC unit from my truck. Its a dealer-fitted unit that my truck came with from new. It's not the fake wood factory style, but it is period correct and seems to be in good order. It fits under the dash correctly, it was made specifically for 67-72 ford trucks. It's complete and (was) working and comes with all brackets, hoses, fittings etc to bolt onto an FE V8. Compressor works fine and blows coolish (not ice cold), indicating it might have needed a recharge.

The bad: it doesn't include the crank pulley, I'm leaving that on my truck, so to run AC you'll need the pulley with an AC groove. On the interior, there are a few missing or misaligned fan vent fins, so it's not for a show truck, but for my clean daily driver, it's great and lacks the high price of the factory style. But in San Diego there isn't much use for AC!

Make a reasonable offer and I can take more photos if you're serious. I can also work out dimensions and weights ( you pay shipping). Sorry, won't separate the parts, but you're welcome to!

Guys, thanks for the PMs. I'll take some photos of it out of the truck tomorrow and post them here. Cheers, Patrick

Ok. Thanks for the patience, here are the photos requested. A few comments based on looking at all the pieces. The stain and minor pitting on top of the chrome trim rings on the in dash unit looks like it can be rubbed off pretty easily, but regardless it was hidden under the dash. It is missing the center vent fins, so the little sliders don't connect, but the fins are easy to adjust. Everything else is good and I literally, pulled it out of the truck two days ago. Cheers, Patrick
