Well my truck looks pretty good from afar but she's pretty rusty and crunchy up close.
So far I've replaced a few lights, the steering wheel turn signal switch.
My rear driver shock wasn't connected to the mount, so I got some cheap Monroe shocks from O'Reillys. Man are rusty bolts a pain.
I'm attempting to get the license plate lights working but there's so much rust everywhere the lights won't light up because they can't get a good ground. Now I have to figure out how to ground those stupid lights.
By the way, if your looking for replacement license plate lights. Don't get the "stock" style ones from lmc. They are crap and they're expensive.

Re: 1971 F100 LWB Sport Custom
Update.
I was taking the truck to get inspected and I made a pit stop at Auto Zone to get new windshield wipers. When I came back to the truck, I noticed a fluid "crumb" trail following the truck. I look under it and see a waterfall of brake fluid. So, I took the truck home and pulled all of the rear brake lines and got new ones from NAPA. I got a cheap line bender to help route the lines, but brake lines are a pain.
Once I got the brake lines in, I took it to get inspected, and of course it failed for these reasons:
Front brake line is frayed;
Radius arm bushings need replaced;
Tail light works sometimes, and sometimes it stays on too long;
Rear brake hose is not secured and is touching the exhaust;
Rear exhaust hanger is not connected to anything.
They aren't big ticket items, but they're proving to be a challenge. I ordered new Energy Suspension radius arm bushings from Summit and started the install. I'm in the middle of it now, so I'll post updates and hopefully pics as I move through it.

Update.
I'm trying to install the radius arm bushings, pivot arm bushings, and front brake hoses but I'm having nothing but trouble.
I'm sure eventually it'll come together but this is crazy.
