All I had to do to it was re gap the points, and dump some fresh gas in her for her to fire up and purr like a kitten.

Good looking truck especially for MI. So what are the plans? All stock resto or a modded truck?

Actually gonna be like 'Farm truck" on the show Street Outlaws kinda haha, Gonna be the stock Lunar Green/ White top with a beefed up motor/trans/4:11 rear gears pushing 33s. Gonna be a sweet "original" looking truck with a little bit of something under the hood

Looks like a nice old truck. Have fun with the resto in the spring. I wish my dad did a project like that with me when I was a kid. I'm near the Lakeshore, about 1 hour from Battle Creek, so I understand how winter around here can make a project just about come to a halt...unless you're one of those lucky guys with a heated shop.

I just replaced the radiator, thermostat and housing, and the upper and lower hoses on my 1999 Plymouth Grand Voyager 3.8... yesterday and today... outside on the back patio. It might have gotten above freezing yesterday, but with no sunshine I doubt it. And we got about 1/4" of snow last night.19ford71 wrote:Looks like a nice old truck. I am beginning to be able to feel my toes again. But my van no longer has the nickname "Puddles!"
If I ever have a spare $15,000 lying around, I will have my heated garage!
