New to the forum here and greatful for the opportunity to look for some ideas on how to fix up this project truck that the wife and I picked up. I am brand new to the world of fixing trucks yourself and after spending countless dollars at repair shops I think its time to learn to see if there is anything that we can do ourselves. I have unknowingly discovered the reality of trying to find parts to replace the old stuff that is broke, not so easy with a 45+ year old truck. Looking forward to learning many new things here because
. I also have a solid 3.25 Ring and Pinion set that was just pulled out and replaced after the rear axle broke. Found out after the new parts were ordered it was not the R and P but the pinion bearing that exploded. If anyone is interested please get back at me.
