"Ready to get kicked off the OTHER site"
Come twards the light! Leave the dark side!
Not too long ago I had to ask to be kicked off of there. They did what I asked but kept all of my posts offering help to others there.
I wanted everything I had there to be deleted. Profile, photos, and posts too. But I had to delete the first two myself. The later still remains.

re: Ready to get kicked off the OTHER site
I don't agree with the way they limit info over there and always try to throw weight around and can correct anyone if they deam neccisary but if it comes to a negative comment twards a moderator all heck brakes loose. Truthfully their 67-72 forum sucks but I do enjoy the 73-79's because of my new purchase and 4x4 group of guys in there. Whats funny is all the info that is available can be talked about and if there is any type of dispute over here it is taken care of in a respectable fashion as we all share the same intrest... the trucks... not the profit off of advertisments. Hats off to you Keith and all that participate in making fordification #1.

Yep that dude "jowilker" is the culprit over at FTE. Strange dude! He's like on a mission to irritate as many forum members as he can.

Ya know, I didn't want to say it, but co-moderating can be a blessing and a curse.
BTW, I don't care what you guys say or do here. It doesn't bother me anyways, plus I can look smarter in the other forum

I know it is the moderators job to make sure the guidelines are followed and that the site is not being abused. That being said, some poeple take it a little too far. I think in this case it was. "jowilker" should have just kept his mouth shut and let this guy get the info and help he was looking for. I never saw anything about wanting to sell a truck, just looking for info.

re: Ready to get kicked off the OTHER site
My whole working career I have had to watch brown-nosers and butt-kissers rise quickly to the top.
Then, ivariably, they take a big fall once the person who's arse they have been smooching finally realizes that they don't actually know anything.. except how to suck up. Seen it a hundred times. The biggest fools are the ones who believe this kiss-up crap, in other words the bosses who fall for it.
I just do my job and stay they hell away from that BS.

Relax fellas, I've helped folks over there and have received many a help from folks over there. I even got my account locked cause I mentioned this site and didn't realize that was a no-no. Then I read Keith's "censored" rant and learned why. I see FTE's point for kicking off folks who mention this site. They've got their rules, Keith's got his and if you wanna remain on either, follow the rules. Now I agree that in this case the guy wasn't trying to sell a truck and maybe jow overreacted a bit. We've all made mistakes (I thought I was wrong once, but I was mistaken.) I've received a lot of help from jow. I've also helped others with value opinions and have received them in return numerous times. I guess what I'm trying to say is if you don't like FTE then it's just better to forget about it than keep talking about it. When you complain about it over and over, it makes you sound like a crybaby. And I'm not trying to put any of you down. I like you guys.
Just thought I'd share my point of view.

re: Ready to get kicked off the OTHER site
I got no axe to grind with FTE, Jared OR John Wilkerson. So far as I know, those two guys are just regular guys, trying to work for Ken as best they can and not even getting paid for it.
It's the kiss-ups I take issue with
