Low Pinion Dana 44 w/disc brakes- who's done it?

Post by Madman »

Anyone who has installed a low pinion Dana 44 w/ discs on their 67-72 F250 4x4 please pm me. I want to rap with you about parts lists you may have developed without boring others, unless they choose to be bored!

Thank you

You need nothing to install the axle. The disc brakes require changes to the lines and master cylinder.

The 76-77 F-250 4x4 disc brake hoses are really expensive and difficult to locate. If you use two passenger side hoses from a 90's F-350 4x4 they work good. If you have a 4" lift the hoses from an F-450 4x4 work well. And most places have them in stock and for 1/4 the price of the old obscure stuff.
