Unfortunately my new Droid doesn't do so well with pics or videos
Took off a crush bent 2.25 exhaust system from my 71 F100. I bought it from Cyclone in the mid 80's and it had been patched and repatched and ran glasspacks then turbo tubes. It was long past its useful life and didn't flow enough for a stock 352, never mind this motor
I built a full 3 inch mandrel bent out to the back of the bumper, overkill, but eventually it'll get a stroker, but for now it just runs too well.
Here is the truck
Here is a quick video of the required open header shot, didn't horse it too much, it was cold as you can see, wouldn't idle cold without the choke. Hope you can open them, they are Quicktime videos
The next one with the exhaust on, ran out of 45 degree bends, so the tailpipes will exit straight back under the bumper, but not until I get more pieces. Still on the fence on whether to use these Flowmasters or put a set of Borlas like the Mustang
Put a new exhaust on the F100

I would go with just about anything over the Flowmasters. They are a known HP killer. Borla, Dynomax of Magnaflows would be my choice

Re: Put a new exhaust on the F100
I run Borla ProXS on everything and love them
The only reason these are on here now is that they were brand new off the Mustang and I was trying to save 100 bucks.
They sound good, but like you said they dont flow too well. Although it is a dual 3 inch system, all mandrel bent, so it may be enough. It sure runs better than the 2.25 crush tubes LOL

No doubt. I have 3" mandrel on my truck, all the way out the back. Sounds good when you mash on itMy427stang wrote:I run Borla ProXS on everything and love them

Here is the finished product with tailpipes

Pretty happy overall. Very healthy 390 +.040 now, but will get the 489 FE out of the Mustang once the new Mustang motor is done
