t45 trans

I am putting a 351w in my 68 swb pickup. Has anybody used this trans or combo? If so any info would be much appreciated. I'm not sure about crossmember or shifter placement. And is it heavy duty enough. I don't want to go with an automatic. Any other trans suggestions? Thanks Jim

I have a 1968 F100 with a 351W and a T5 transmission which has been fine in the 8k miles that I've had it. I didn't' set it up though. Probably why it works.
