about a year ago i put brand new t-case bushings on, from NPD.

Went on a wheeling trip over the weekend and noticed 20 miles down the freeway that my t-case shifter was moving forward and back a full inch or more.
PUlled over, got under the t-case and pushed on the front driveshaft. Whole t-case lifted an inch.
Possibilities i can think of: mount studs have backed out the t-case, nuts have backed off the studs, or the new bushings were made in china.
Mounting studs idea was pretty much busted when i cranked on the nut and it didnt turn at all (i can only get on one of the mount nuts without pulling the t-case).
Loose nuts idea was busted when I realized there are cotter pins through them and they too will not move.
Then I noticed the new black bushings were cracked all over. I am now ASSUMING that the bushings have completely collapsed or something?
Anyone have issues with this? I can't be the only one that has recently replaced their t-case mount bushings.
I did scrape the t-case on a rock pretty bad but does it seem possible that I could of destroyed the bushings by doing this? I would think if i applied THAT much force to the front mounts by scraping, that the bushings would of squished in and "rebounded" back to position, not cracked and destroyed as if they are completely dried out.
Thoughts?

I bought the urethane ones and have been very happy. Could you tighten the nuts at all? seem to remember them having to be pretty tight for it not to move.

Re: t-case mount issues
I tried cranking on the nut i can get at and it didn't budge, and it can't of loosened anyways because of the cotter pin. And i do still see the shiny new cotter pins in there. I know i cranked them down nice and tight when I assembled it all.
Where did you order your bushings from? I need to order new ones now

Re: t-case mount issues
Those look a tad bit different, i'll have to give them a shot. bummer i have to buy all 8 bushings though. The 4 lower square bushings are still in great shape
